It just didn't work...

There was no long run today. This injury is starting to get to me. 

When I dislocated my hip last year, I ran through the whole thing. Rest wasn't going to fix it, and I was determined to kick butt in my first half. 

This is different. Really different. 

I went out to the park this morning. Got up early on a nice overcast morning. I knew my leg was tight, but I thought it would loosen through the workout. Got my watch started and tried to move. It didn't work very well. 

I tried to stretch a little more. Started my watch again, nothing. Actually, I almost fell on my face. So what was supposed to be a nice easy 10 mile run turned in to a 20 second stay on your feet attempt. 

As soon as I got home I wrapped my leg around the knee. I made sure the tightest part of my wrap was around the knee on the left side. Propped everything up with a pillow and sat. 

I am sitting on the couch wasting a great running day because I can't move my leg. This is unacceptable. 

This is how week three ended. Very disappointed. Next week is a new week. Lets hope it's better.
