Five Things Friday 6.13

Oh man! It's Friday the 13th!! I'm a pretty superstitious person, and this week has had a few rough patches. On the other side, there has been some pretty interesting things that have happened this week.

So, without further ado, five things that you really need to know about from this week!

1. I got an awesome email yesterday from the wonderful ladies at Sparkly Soul that I have been named an ambassador!! I have been a huge fan of Sparkly Soul headbands for awhile now and I am so thrilled to get to work with some amazing ladies!

2. Sarah introduced everyone to the second member of our Akron Marathon relay team. This week, it's the amazing Lauren!!

3. Speaking of the amazing Lauren, in her continuous efforts to cure cancer, she is offering a giveaway for a custom tutu with a small donation to TnT. Check out all the details here

4. Heather is a BAMR. She completed the Runners World Heartbreak Hill Half Hat Trick last weekend and ended up in the back of the back for the half marathon. This was something she had never experienced.  Her blog post was fantastic. Check it out, you will not regret it!

5. While I was running yesterday, in a sports bra, I had a disgusting man hang out his car window yelling stuff at me. If you know me, you know I am not one to back down from a man. I screamed that he was a pig and flipped him off. I should not have to be subjected to this just by being a female. There were tons of guys running without shirts on and no one bothered them! Let's just make this a lesson learned. I hope I never have to deal with this again!

Rant over, week over, it is time to move forward.

Have I mentioned my birthday is in 11 days? Can you tell I'm excited! I will catch up with you all again Sunday!
