The Week That Was: June 9 - June 15

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! I'm having a hard time believing we are half way through June already! Columbus Marathon training is just around the corner! 

I have been chain watching the World Cup, and I am really excited for my stay-cation starting on the 22nd so I can watch more!! 

Alright, so this week. I took my Monday Motivation to heart. 

I wanted to be to 50 miles by the end of the week. I am slowly building mileage to make sure I stay healthy through this round of marathon training. 

I had four workouts this week. They totaled 22 miles and gave me 48.5 miles for June. I had a track workout (1600x4) and three road runs. 

My best run was number three. We had our third wedding in four weeks that day, and I wished I could have done more. 

Every run this week felt completely comfortable. My track workout was awesome. It was a really good week! 

Next week includes a 5k, so training will have to be moved around to get everything in. That's alright, let's shake it up! 

We have also been trying to plan 2015 vacations. This is a big deal because it might allow me to complete the Disney Coast to Coast!! More on this later when I have more information!!
