Columbus Marathon Training: Week Five

JULY IS OVER!!! It's the same feeling as a Wednesday to me. It's over but there is still work to do!

This week had a few interesting aspects to it. With a month coming to an end, it feels like I'm starting all over. Bring it on at this point!

This week I had five workouts totaling 30.2 miles. I did trail, tempo, treadmill, rolling hills and a race! It was a crazy week!

So, drum roll please, my July mileage total was....

135 miles!!! It is my second highest mileage total ever! I went back and looked and last year in July I ran 39 miles. 96 more miles in one year. So crazy!

Of course I stopped at Panera this week. I ordered off the Akron Marathon Training Menu!! I got the Take 2 half tuna salad sandwich and half classic salad!

Hopefully everyone had an awesome week and an even better July! Let's make August awesome!!

  1. Great week! I read about your one mile race. It's pretty cool that Panera (we call it St. Louis Bread Company) has a menu for the marathon. Interesting.

I love the training menu. Everything is filling but light at the same time!

  4. Steff!! Congrats on your mileage for July; that is awesome! Great race in the Liberty Mile, as well - you are doing great! I'll be mentioning you in the blog on Wednesday - it's about my sock problems - ha! Thanks for a great post, as usual!
