Columbus Marathon Training: Week 15

To actually write that this is week 15 is mind blowing to me. What an incredible journey! 



For my second full week of my taper I had four workouts for a total of 22 miles. I have 52.1 miles for October and 979 miles for 2014. 




Next week will have three very easy runs. Five miles on Tuesday and Wednesday and three on Friday! I can't believe the Columbus Marathon is one week from today! 


I also retired my first pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 17 this week. They had 465.9 miles on them. They had a beautiful life and helped me fall in love with a pair of shoes again! 




Good luck and congratulations to everyone who raced this week! I am getting really excited to race again from watching all of you!

  3. I can't believe we are this close to the race. I feel like this training session was the fastest of all the marathons I have done. You are going to do great.

    So are you Shaun!!! Early in training I thought October would never get here! Since week 10 I feel like it has flown by!
