Five Things Friday 10.10

So let's be serious for a second, I just typed in that today is October 10. My marathon countdown is in the single digits!! This is just surreal right now! I feel like time is creeping by this week, I bet next week flies by!

I have some pretty interesting reads for you this week in Five Things Friday. Let's get right to it!

1. HOCKEY IS BACK! Yes, that deserved a number in itself!

2. When I was accepted as a #sweatpink ambassador, I was given a chance to share my A-Ha moment. This week, my story was shared through the internet! I am so honored! You can read my story here!

3. Lauren Fleshman wrote an amazing article about some criticism she received from a man after photos were released from Oiselle's fashion week runway show, LF is amazing and she is a much stronger woman than I would have been! Anyway, here is the article!

4. Thank to my friend Kristy, I think I have finally cemented my marathon training plan for NOLA!! Rock n Roll released the participant shirts as well. I'm not really thrilled with them, but I'm really pumped to get that finishers jacket!

5. Have you started your October FitFluential challenge? This month, Grokker is challenging you to create a personal wellness habit! Tag your progress on all of your social media #ffwellness and you will be entered to win some cool prizes! Here is the blog post for more details!

Here's hoping you all have a great weekend! I will be over here just waiting patiently!

  1. Can't wait to virtually cheer for you at Columbus!!!!! So excited for you!!!! :-)

  2. Thanks for sharing all of this, Steff! Your story is fantastic and I really appreciated the article about marathon training that you linked to; I've saved it for future reference. :) I thought Lauren's article was wonderful; she always gets me thinking. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I'm so ready to cheer you on (from another state, unfortunately!) next weekend! Woo hoo!!

  3. The NoLa shirts look awesome.

  4. YES to hockey being back!!
I really love that finishers jacket - very snazzy! :)
