Five Things Friday 11.14

Happy Friday my friends! This week started with temps in the upper 60’s and now we are dealing with sub freezing temps and snow! How upsetting!!

The December Run Challenge sign ups are still going on! You can click here to read the whole story on click on the December Run Challenge tab on the top of the page!

This week, I present to you five things that really grind my gears! Yes, I have dealt with a lot of common sense problems this week and I need to get them all out before I explode!

1. "Oh" is a letter, not a number. When someone says that their phone number includes an “Oh” and not a zero, I twitch.

2. Sleet and Hail are two completely different things. Hail occurs during severe weather and sleet occurs in winter weather. Please correct this ASAP!

3. This whole Kim Kardashian thing has me annoyed in general. If all of these celeb photos are being leaked anyway, why not take some profession kick-ass photos and make tons of money off of them. Plus, she made a sex tape like 10 years ago, this is old news.

4. Please stop over-using the word basically. I know people who say this word WAY TOO MUCH! To the point that we take bets on how many times the word can be said in a conversation. It might be the new “like”.

5. It really drives me crazy when people ask my opinion on a race or something running related and then question my answer. If you didn’t want my answer, don’t ask. Very simply put, I don’t claim to know everything, and I will only talk about things I have experienced. Please do not question my response after I give you the reason why.

THAT FELT FANTASTIC! Thank goodness for blogging! Alright people, have a great weekend!

Let it all out people, what is really grinding your gears this week?

  1. I am guilty of #1 !! I try not to, but it slips out fairly often!
I am also annoyed at Kim Kardashian. What really grinds my gears about this one, is that I (embarrassingly) used to watch their show and when she posed in Playboy she wanted nothing to do with posing full frontal. I can't remember if she ended up doing it or not, but still. Like you said - we've all seen it already. ENOUGH!

I'm just sick of people talking about it. If you stop, it will go away!
