The Week That Was - 12/22 - 12/28

It is the last Sunday in 2014! This year has been so amazing and this week has given me my love of running back!

This week I had four workouts for 26 miles. I have 44 miles in December and 1,137 miles in 2014. 

I was super excited to get to spend some time this week with some amazing friends while running and not! Lauren and Jeff joined me for a 12 mile run and I saw Kelsey and Chelsea for dinner earlier in the week!!

My foot has been feeling pretty good but I'm still having nerve pain. I decided to use some KT Tape during my long run and it helped a lot! 

Today was the last day in this years training journal! I love journaling about my training. It helps me figure out where things go right and wrong. It helps me stay on track as well. 

I am very happy with the way this week turned out. Even with the holiday, I stayed motivated and driven! Here's to more growth in 2015!!

  2. Steff, I'm so, so glad that your foot is doing better and that you are back at it! Is this nerve pain you're talking about normal?     I'm glad I finally remembered to link up! The nerve issues are a side affect from the boot, we think. It will take a while for the numbness to stop but it's getting there!

    Eye on the prize! The marathon doesn't care what day of the year it is!
