The Week That Was: 1/12 - 1/18

Hi guys! I am so sorry I forgot to post a Five Things Friday post! I had a wicked headache on Thursday and wasn't right until Friday night!

This week was going to be a little different. This was supposed to be a cut back week, but collectively it was decided I would not cut back my long run. 

I had four workouts this week that totaled 25 miles. For January and 2015 I have 81 miles. 

I was so excited to finally get outside again! The good thing about training on the treadmill for so long is you tend to be faster when you get outside!

Lauren and I have been working out the last little bits for our trip next week! I am so excited to go down to visit my friends and to see some of my running friends as well!

Next week is going to be a little crazy with things going on up here for the early part of the week, then travel of course. I'm hoping to be able to find a balance and relax.

  5. I'm so proud of you for taking the time to allow your foot to heal and then going easy on yourself so that you could get back to this point and be ready for NOLA. The race is going to be amazing, and I can't wait to hear all about your adventures (no boob-flashing in the French Quarter, please).
