The Week That Was - 1/5 - 1/11

Hi guys! I hope you all survived the cold weather this week. I know I was so ready for this week, The Rock inspired me this week.


This week I had five workouts totaling 36 miles. All five were on the treadmill, including my long run. I have 56 miles for January and 2015. 




Yes folks, you read that correctly. I did my 16 mile run on the treadmill! Can I tell you how excited I was when I was done!! My highest treadmill mileage before this was 10 miles so this is huge. I am feeling very confident right when I need to be.

I was super excited to head out to one of the Pittsburgh Marathon VIP nights hosted by Dicks! I even got interviewed for some promo stuff! Hopefully it will show up around social media soon!

Two weeks from today I will be tackling my fourth marathon! I still can't believe this trip is so close! I wanted to congratulate a bunch of my running friends for taking on Disney and a bunch of other races this weekend! I cannot wait to be racing again!!

  1. Next race for me will be the Valentine's Day race. Is was good seeing at the VIP event. I am sure I will see you at other events

  2. WOW! I am always amazed when I see people knocking out long runs on the treadmill! Definitely a good motivator, because then I think "if they can do 16 miles on a treadmill, there is no reason I can't do 5 or 6!"
    I am really excited to run the Valentine's Day 15K - that will be another new distance for me to try out! :)
