Akron Half Marathon Training: Week Ten

Remember how I said last week went so well that I was waiting for something to go wrong, well that was this week. It was an insane whirlwind of a week and my training really suffered. Truth. 

This week I had four workouts that totaled 26.2 miles (ha! Running nerd joke). For August I have 70.2 miles and 780 miles towards my 2015 goal of 1,200 miles. 

I'm sorry I don't have much to say this week. Training was very mentally taxing on me and I'm trying to shake it off. It was also my first full week working two jobs. I'm really liking my part time job and I'm so excited I decided to make this decision. 

I also had a blog post written for this week that the Internet ate. I was far too tired to write it again plus, I couldn't get it just right. I do have an awesome giveaway coming up soon, you want to stay tuned!

  1. Just shake it off and move on, chalk it up as that 1 bad week we all have. You still had 4 good workouts so you can look at that as a pro.

  2. We all go through weeks like this where everything seems to go wrong. Thank goodness it's over, and now that it's Monday try to start off on a fresh slate and forget that week even happened! You still ran a full marathon (in a week) which is awesome and a lot better than doing nothing! You're still going to crush that half :)
