Benefits To Virtual Races - Sole Sister Seven Mile Run

The awesome people behind Gone For A Run have really been doing a great job with their virtual race series. I see so many people posting on social media about running their races! Gone For A Run makes these events fun with swag and medals!

This month, the Gone For A Run virtual race series brings a fun new distance for me, the Sole Sister Seven Mile Run! This race is all about gathering up your running girlfriends and having a great time. When you sign up for the race, you get your race packet in the mail including your bib, medal and race tank!

Complete you seven mile race between August 28-30 and post some pictures to social media! If you write a blog recap about your race, post it to the Gone For A Run Facebook page and be entered to win a prize!

I have really grown to like these virtual races. They have a ton of benefits for me, especially because I am not racing anymore before my goal half marathon. It is an easy way to push yourself and get the feeling of race day.

I also love connecting with others through these virtual races. It feels like you really are racing together, supporting each other and earning some more bling! It's also a nice added bonus that I can do the race at anytime, I don't have to travel or wake up crazy early in the morning to participate. HUGE BONUS!

So ladies, let's get out there and run together! You know I'll be out there giving this seven miler my best effort and supporting you all along the way!

Disclaimer: I received a free entry into this virtual race from Gone For A Run. All opinions are my own.

  1. I've done a couple of their virtual runs, too, and I agree they do a good job. I really like virtual runs for the same reason you mentioned- getting a little extra oomph out of a training run. Nice post! :)
