Five Things Friday - 1.20

Can I just start by saying, TGIF! This week has really tested me, but this weekend should be a blast! I have to say, seeing everyone getting to run in shorts this week, myself included, has made me super happy. Even the sun is stay up past 5pm!!

Alright, my rambling is over, I'm linking up again with Running On Happy and Fairytales and Fitness for this weeks post. The topic this week was about winter, and since I'm not a winter fan I decided to do a post I have wanted to do for awhile. I want to share five things about me!

I've had a lot of new visitors to my little corner of the internet (hi there!) and would love for you all to know more about me. Yes, I am exactly how I sound on my blog, ask anyone. Oh, and I am as scatterbrained in person. Anyway, here are five things about me!

1. Quick Favorites:
     Number: 4 and 19
     Color: Green
     Animal: Giraffe
     Disney Character: Goofy and Elsa
     Food: Pizza
     Guilty Pleasure: Mountain Dew

The nice lady let me be the last one to meet Goofy in DL.

2. My birthday is my favorite day of the year. Hands down. My husband always does a really good job of helping me celebrate, including taking me to the Cleveland Zoo one year and I got to feed a giraffe!

He didn't even know they did it. Just good timing!

3. I am a really big WWE fan. Yes, professional wrestling. I wanted to be an announcer for WWE until I was a Junior in College. I even have my undergrad degree in radio and television announcing.

I'm going to say this is around 2007.

4. I hated living in Pittsburgh when we first got married. I asked my husband if we could leave everyday. Thanks to the internet, I made some friends and have had it grow on me. I'm still not a huge fan of the weather, but at least I have people to talk to!

My ohana <3

5. I lost my last baby tooth when I was 24 years old. It was the day before we were leaving for Disney World. The day we got back I got my braces put on to pull down my other tooth and straighten up my bottoms. I got the braces taken off three days before my first marathon, 18 months later. Do you know how hard it was to be in your mid-20s and have braces?!

My pretty, expensive teeth!
It only makes sense that I shared these random facts about me! I hope you guys enjoyed them and have a great weekend!

Come on, share a random fact about you! I want to know!

  9. I got my braces a few weeks after turning eighteen because my parents sucked and didn't get them for me sooner. I still have nightmares of that spacer that took up the entire roof of my mouth and I couldn't talk normally. And of course, I worked as a Publix cashier and got stuck working the express lane later that day. I was a few months shy of 21 when mine came off.
