Tunes Tuesday - 2.7

Welcome to Tunes Tuesday! I co-host this link up with Kim from KookyRunner and Janelle from Run With No Regrets. If you are new to the link up, you can find all the information you need to get started here. We hope that you will join us!

It is the first Tuesday of the month so the topic this week is motivation music. I will never forget when I did the Goofy Challenge in 2014 RunDisney did a simple poll on Twitter asking what music they wanted to hear at different points in the race. I thought it was really cool but didn't vote on anything.

Around mile seven there was a sign that said the voted on song was coming up. The same sign was around mile 20-ish as well. I will never forget the overwhelming emotion that came over me by hearing both of these songs. They really helped motivate me to the finish of my second marathon. They are "Roar" by Katy Perry and "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen.

Hopefully these two songs can help you feel motivated to achieve your goals. I know they will always have a special place in my heart.
