I have said this before, and I will keep saying it. I really love participating in virtual races! I like connecting with other people who are participating from all over, and helping amazing causes in the process.
For awhile I have been participating in Gone For A Run virtual races. The themes are great, adorable medals and the swag is on point. I was so excited when Gone For A Run asked if I would be interested in joining their inaugural Virtual Run Team!
This means I get to participate in some more awesome races, and connect with more people! Total win win!
I am so excited to be participating in the Chicks On A Run 4-Miler! My packet came in the mail yesterday and I couldn't wait to tell you all about this race.
Like every Gone For A Run virtual race, for $25 you get a bib and a race medal. Let's just talk about the cuteness factor of all of this! Okay, so you also have the option of a bunch of other swag you can add on. There are shirts, socks, stickers and even undies!!
The virtual race dates are April 13-19. All you have to do is run/walk/crawl/dance four miles on a date in that time frame and you earn that medal! You can also have the satisfaction of knowing you have helped support an amazing cause.
The Chicks On A Run 4-Miler supports Girls On The Run. GOTR is a program that helps young girls achieve their dreams through running. The volunteers helps these girls learn not only about the sport, but life and have a safe space to talk and connect with others. It is such a great cause and I am thrilled to be able to support it.
If you love these virtual races as much as I do, you can also sign up for the Virtual Run Club! You can sign up for 3, 6 or 12 races, save some money on registration and get some fun swag in the process! You are still supporting the causes that each race is working with, and you can pick the ones you REALLY need to do!
It's that easy friends! Let's run together and support a great cause!
