Disney Marathon Training - Week 14

There's no way around it, this week was rough. Like soul crushing.

I'm not going to go back in to earlier this week. You can read all about it here.

Random note from my mental breakdown was getting a new couch! Yes kids, this is adulting.

Friday I forced myself to run. I jumped on the treadmill for three miles. They didn't feel the best, but I was happy to get them done.

When I got off the treadmill I saw I had an email informing me I was picked to be on the Rock 'n' Blog team again for 2018! I am really excited to get the opportunity to represent Rock 'n' Roll Marathon again! Hubs and I are already looking for a fun trip for 2018.

Saturday was a crazy long day. I started at barre class, then ran five pretty perfect miles. I set the intervals to 4:1 just so I could relax. I forgot my music which actually wasn't that bad! I really needed that run.

The best part of Saturday was getting to see so many friends randomly through the day. Honestly, I needed it. I needed a day to get away and just laugh. Thank you everyone who helped to make that happen. Even in the most random ways possible. I appreciate it!

Sunday was cold. I have a bunch of workouts I have to do outside next week and I just wanted to give myself a break. Plus, what is more of a mental challenge than running for two hours on a treadmill? 12 miles later I did it! I was still really tired from Saturday but I did it!

Weekly Total: 20 miles
December Total: 41 miles
2017 Total: 1,066.7 miles

So, thank goodness this was a cutback week. Next week is peak week and I am as ready and I am going to be. I had a great talk with a friend of mine on Saturday that really helped me get it all out. I'm way stronger than I think and I need to keep reminding myself of that. Thank you all to everyone who reached out this week. I cannot put in to words how grateful I am for such amazing people in my life.
